ALO/CIO Discussion Board
Welcome to the ACCJC ALO/CIO Discussion Board!
This Discussion Board has been developed by the ACCJC as a tool for Accreditation Liaison Officers (ALOs) and Chief Instructional Officers (CIOs) to meet virtually to discuss issues that relate to quality assurance of educational quality and institutional performance and to share good practices in these areas. The Discussion Board is also intended to be a tool for ALOs and CIOs, to network and learn from each other’s experiences and practices.
It is important to note that the Discussion Board will not be driven, monitored, or moderated by ACCJC staff. It is a space for ALOs and CIOs to initiate discussions that they consider to be important and relevant. ACCJC expects that the site will be used in this spirit and that care will be taken to share and upload correct and useful information. ACCJC staff can be contacted via the usual channels, i.e., email and telephone (415-506-0234).
Based on feedback from ACCJC’s member institutions, the Discussion Board is established with some pre-defined topics. Participants in the Discussion Board can add new topics as the need arises. It is thus possible and intended that the Discussion Board will be developed and shaped by the users over time. Please review our terms of service for additional information.
I hope that the Discussion Board will develop to become a valuable tool for the users. ACCJC would appreciate any comments on how the Discussion Board can be further developed when it is well under way. Comments can be sent to ACCJC@ACCJC.ORG.
